Are you looking to mix up your walking routine? Do you love to read about history? Then consider joining the museum’s new
summer walking club! Over the course of the summer, we’ll discuss the assigned chapters of historian Michael Vorenberg’s new
book, Lincoln’s Peace, while walking on the paths in the park behind Mallinckrodt. Discussions will be led by volunteers from the
museum.

Lincoln’s Peace is readily available for purchase at local bookstores and online retailers, and the Wilmette Public Library may be able
to secure a copy of the book for you to borrow. Consult the library’s catalog or contact the library at 847-256-5025 and ask for Adult
Services.

No need to bring the book to our meetings. If you cannot attend every week due to travel, no problem! In case we need to cancel for
inclement weather, please check your email/text for a message.
