The Wilmette Historical Museum and the Wilmette Police Department will be hosting joint open houses at their respective locations on Ridge Road. Come and enjoy a performance from the Wilmette Community Band on the museum’s front lawn at 12:00, explore the Museum’s historic building, and tour the exhibits. Kids can get “locked up” in the building’s original jail cell, as well as enjoy family-friendly activities. Down the street at the Police Department, take a tour of the station and enjoy a free hot dog! We hope to see you there.
